Vanessa Gonzalez Events represents her vision for a holistic approach in style, entertainment and design services. Providing full event services with artistic concepts and current trends to create a stimulating sensory experience, Gonzalez’s vision has developed into a brand that focuses its efforts on the arts, specializing in creating non-traditional event design and redefining the way events are produced and experienced.

Prior to founding her company, Gonzalez served as the Special Events Director for The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Los Angeles.  She developed and led the events division for nearly ten years and gained a reputation for creating innovative, dynamic, and press-worthy affairs ranging from large-scale, celebrity-driven opening galas to intimate and exclusive donor dinners. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role establishing MOCA as the first museum to produce hip signature events, resulting in a significant membership increase that encouraged community interest and recruited new corporate sponsorships.

Gonzalez’s vision placed MOCA in the forefront of the country’s contemporary art institutions as a stage for hosting groundbreaking music talents. She single-handedly orchestrated and procured the much widely talked about Grandmaster Flash performance, for the opening event of the Jean-Michel Basquiat exhibition. A move that would redefine the way museums programmed their events and engaged their audiences. Among her extensive portfolio of event design, she spearheaded the highly publicized gala for Takashi Murakami that featured a performance by Kanye West and honored Marc Jacobs. The Los Angeles Times credited Gonzalez as “the museum’s events specialist” known for making “MOCA one of the hottest social tickets in town”.

Gonzalez has an impressive repertoire that has garnered attention by Angeleno, In Style, L’Uomo Vogue, and other media. She has been profiled in The Los Angeles Times and appeared on Bravo’s fashion competition reality series, Launch My Line. Gonzalez is highly regarded for her contributions to the Los Angeles Art Scene and her work continues to be emulated by other companies, non-profits and art institutions, nationally and overseas.
